Scope: collaborate through one explicitly identified QTerm tab. Read the current QTerm help and list tabs before acting. Use the tab's exact UUID for every later operation; do not rely on a title, index, or selected state after the initial lookup.

Before writing, take over that tab and confirm the lease. Send one bounded command or key sequence, then observe its output before deciding the next action. Renew the lease while a long command runs; do not resend a command merely to renew it. Reads do not renew control. Release the tab in the cleanup path, and stop for human coordination if the human unlocks it or the lease is lost.

Use a separate tab for tunnels, file transfer, or shortcut playback. Never type secrets, never infer success from an idle state, and never close or terminate a running human tab without an explicit current request. Report the tab UUID, commands actually sent, observed output, and anything not verified.
